Experience

Took part in discussions around risk assessments linked to construction delays at the Sizewell C nuclear project, learning how engineers think through safety, risk, and decision-making in a highly regulated environment.
April 2025 - February 2026 (10 Months)
Regular volunteer supporting weekly event setup and operations. Helped with marshalling, timekeeping, and barcode scanning. Built confidence working in a busy, community-focused environment and became a reliable part of the volunteer team
October 2023 - January 2024 (3 Months)
Planned and ran weekly activities for a group of around 15 children aged 10. Developed leadership and communication skills through organising sessions and keeping the group engaged. Learned how to manage responsibility and adapt activities to different needs
